Management Support Technology, Inc. (MSTI) is now hiring for an On-Site Supervisor to plan, manage, direct, and coordinate activities of personnel who provide production services for a Federal Agency MSTI supports. The On-Site Supervisor will be responsible and accountable for the efficient and consistent level of production for the assigned project. Identify and provide recommendations on practices and techniques that can be used to streamline and improve customer support operations situations for assigned the project. Provide input and recommendations for the growth and professional development of staff.
Selected candidate will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of personnel as assigned. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and regulations. Ensure performance appraisal, professional development, and corrective action programs comply MSTI policies and regulations. Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing MSTI ISO standards. Ensure operation of equipment by calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques. Provide operational data as required by the contract by initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data; answering questions and responding to requests. Maintain safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of control points, equipment, and resources. Resolve personnel problems by analyzing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions; recommending action. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications; establish personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices. Assist in identifying in-scope needs of existing customer. Provides background information and points of contacts for new opportunities or related programs for assigned programs/projects based on MSTI business development priorities.
The candidate is frequently required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. Required to stand, walk distances, and reach with hands and arms. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds or more. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet but can be loud while on-site at physical production environments such as warehouses, copy or mail centers, etc.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret regulations, policies, financial and legal documents.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers and articulate plans programs and strategies for assigned project.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Knowledge of United States Postal Service Domestic and International Mail Manuals, United Parcel Service and FEDEX policies and procedures.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Candidate must be able to clear a background investigation and drug screening.
Education: High School Diploma or Associates Degree with 5 plus years experience.
