CONTRACT SCOPE
Polaris allows federal agencies to buy a wide range of information technology services and IT‑based solutions from qualified small‑business contractors. The contract covers modern, emerging, and traditional IT service areas that support system development, operations, security, and automation.
Federal agencies may use Polaris to acquire services such as:
- Artificial Intelligence (AI)
- Robotic Process Automation (RPA)
- Information & Communications Technology (ICT)
- IT Operations & Maintenance (O&M)
- Cybersecurity / IT Security Services
- Software Development
- Systems Design & Engineering
- Blockchain Solutions
These categories represent the core technology areas Polaris is designed to support.
Contracting officers may also include additional support items if they are integral to the IT solution, including:
- Non‑IT labor or services
- IT equipment (e.g., servers, racks, mounts)
- Non‑IT equipment
- Software required for the solution
These items must be directly tied to delivering the IT service-based requirement.
